The installer stops abruptly, telling me that I need to install .NET 1.1. The error message directs me to my installation CD-ROM, but nowhere can I find the .NET installer. Where is it?

Please download the latest .NET framework from Microsoft.
e.g.http://www.microsoft.com/net/
