Here’s my problem: I have a survey with 21
questions. I am measuring alignment with 5 principles. The questions are
grouped in my dissertation to fall under the 5 principles. Is there a way to
recode so that I get an output that lists which of the questions for each of the 250 responders are
aligned with each of the principles? Almost all of the questions have multiple
questions imbedded. So instead of having 21 questions there are really 66
questions. I have labeled them for instance 4a, 4b, 4c, etc
Principle 1: questions 6, 15, 16, 17
principle 2: questions 4, 13
Principle 3: questions 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10
Principle 4: 2, 11, 12, 18, 19
Principle 5 questions 1, 13, 14, 20, 21.
I have been playing around with
Transform/compute variable but it is not making sense to me yet. Can anyone
offer a suggestion?
Thanks for your assistance.
